Practical Solutions for Inclusive Growth was a public lecture hosted by Verité Research, focusing on the critical policy shifts required to resume sustainable economic growth in Sri Lanka following the 2022 crisis.

The core message of the event highlighted that the fundamental issue crippling Sri Lanka's economic sectors is a lack of accountability. Whether it is shielding domestic industries from global market competition, forcing farmers into low-yield paddy cultivation through outdated legislation, or providing untargeted energy subsidies that primarily benefit the wealthy, the absence of market and civic accountability has severely constrained the nation's potential.

The proposed framework outlined five key pillars for reform: liberalizing trade to reintroduce market competition, reforming the Paddy Lands Act to give farmers economic autonomy, replacing corrosive energy subsidies with targeted cash transfers, ensuring education outcomes through teacher accountability, and separating foreign borrowing decisions from geopolitical pressures.

I was responsible for designing the visual identity and communication materials for the event, ensuring that the urgency and clarity of these policy recommendations were reflected across all physical and digital touchpoints.
